DAVIDSON, N.C. – The UNC Asheville men's soccer team travels to Davidson on Friday evening, Sept. 9, to take on the Wildcats at 7:30 p.m.

NOTABLES:

Last Time Out: Asheville battled through 86 scoreless minutes against the Stetson Hatters until a late goal dealt the Bulldogs their second consecutive one-goal loss.

Scouting Davidson: The Wildcats, like the Bulldogs, are looking for their first victory of the season. Davidson has dropped two straight 2-0 decisions.

Coming Closer: After two lopsided defeats to begin the season, the Bulldogs came just minutes short of draws in both of their last two games, surrendering very late game-winning goals in each.

Road Warriors: The match against Davidson will be the Bulldogs' sixth straight road game (including exhibitions) to begin the year.

QUOTABLES

"We've had a good week of training and we're looking forward to our match against Davison on Friday. They are a well-coached team from a good conference and we're excited for another opportunity to work on our process. Overall, I've been pleased with the way we've played at times, but I don't think we've turned in a complete 90 minutes yet, so I'm looking to forward to see if we can put together a complete performance and we will see where it goes." – Head Coach Mathes Mennell
