DeLAND, Fla.- Stetson claimed a 1-0 victory over the UNC Asheville men's soccer team on Monday afternoon after a late game-winning goal from the Hatters' Joseph Almo.
The Bulldogs battled for a scoreless 86 minutes before Almo's game-winner clinched for Stetson.
Stetson's goalkeeper Paul Ladwig defended his home goal, making six saves in 90 minutes with four coming in the second half.
The Bulldogs combined for ten total shots on the night, half of the Hatters' total 20 shots.
