Asheville Looks for First Big South Victory at Home Friday

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville volleyball team welcomes Liberty University to the Justice Center on Friday in the first of a pair of Big South Conference matches this weekend.

NOTABLES

Head-to-Head: The last time these two teams met, the Bulldogs posted a 3-1 win over the flames in Lynchburg. Asheville trails in the overall series 22-37.

Last Time Out: In their last match, the Bulldogs fell on the road at High Point (0-3) for their second consecutive conference loss. Sophomore Cara Guthrie led the Bulldog offense with seven kills.

Scouting Liberty: The Flames are also looking for their conference win this weekend, dropping matches to High Point (1-3) and Radford (2-3).
