QUOTABLES

“We talked a little bit in the locker room before the game about what an honor it is to play a sporting event on this day, it certainly puts things in perspective. With that being said, obviously we are excited to get a win in front of our home crowd. I think we played well, and I was happy to see these guys get rewarded for all of their hard work, but we still have a lot to work on. I think there were some great performances across the field, and I think my staff did a great job with game management- it's great to get a victory when it's a total team effort. ” -Head coach Mathes Mennell

UP NEXT

-The Bulldogs will have a week away from competition before heading north to face East Tennessee State in Johnson City at 7 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 18.
