Statesboro, GA – The UNC Asheville men's soccer team concludes its preseason schedule with a road trip to Georgia Southern Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. at Eagle Field.
 

The matchup was originally intended to be a 7 p.m. home match for UNC Asheville, but due to possible bad weather, the site was flipped.
 

NOTABLES

The Bulldogs are coming off a 1-1 tie on the road Tuesday against Virginia Military Institute. Brendan O'Dowd found the net in that game, while Grady Bradshaw assisted. 
 

This will be the second exhibition match of the season for Georgia Southern, as well. They picked up a 3-0 win over NAIA school Savannah College of Art and Design on Tuesday. They are led by first-year head coach John Murphy and are in their third year in the Sun Belt Conference.
 

UP NEXT

Following Saturday's matchup, UNC Asheville will open its regular season next Friday, Aug. 26 against Elon University in Durham, N.C. at 5 p.m. The first home tilt is scheduled for Sept. 11 at 5 p.m. against UNC Greensboro.
