#8 Days 'Till Bulldog Men's Soccer

Asheville, N.C.- Only eight days stand between the UNC Asheville men's soccer team and their first official game when they travel to Durham, N.C. to face Elon University on August 26. To assist in preparing fans for the first kickoff, meet #8 Brian Wendelgass.
In the 2015 season Wendelgass played in 12 games and posted three starts for the Bulldogs for a total of 392 minutes. Throughout his career, he has battle injuries, but as able to come back strong for Asheville in his third season. Before UNC Asheville, he played at Cary HS, and enjoyed an outstanding club career that allowed him to be a part of NCYSA State Cup Championship team in 2009 and semifinalist in 2010.
