ASHEVILLE, N.C.- The UNC Asheville Head Men's and Women's Cross Country and Track and Field Coach Jesse Norman announced the addition of six women and two men to the 2016-17 Cross Country and Track and Field rosters.
The addition of the eight athletes to the track and field program will add depth to the sprints and middle distance events. Three of the incoming athletes will compete in women's Cross Country as well as Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field.
“Overall, this is going to be a solid recruiting class for us that will add some much-needed depth on both the men's and women's teams. I'm excited to begin working with our incoming athletes and developing them in their events throughout their college careers,” said Head Coach Norman.
