ATLANTA– The UNC Asheville Men's and Women's track and field teams turned in personal bests and new additions to the Asheville all-time lists at the Yellow Jacket Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
NOTABLES
-Friday's competition included the men's and women's 5,000 meter run. On the women's side, Erin Dalton cracked the top 10 in ninth place with a time of 18:31.83. For the men's Asheville Jacob Fink finished 15th with a time of 16:39.87.
-Kelsie Rubino started Saturday's competition for the Bulldogs by taking the fourth spot on the Asheville all-time list in the 1,500 meter run. Rubino's time of 4:37.00 placed her fifth overall.
-In the women's 100 meter hurdles, Kayli Nichols turned in a wind-aided (2.2 m/s) time of 14.44 to earn 13th place overall.
- In the men's 800 meter dash, Chase Steven just missed a new personal best with a time of 1:55.51. Stevens had a top finish for Asheville in 11th place.
-In the men's 400 meter dash, Kimani Anderson placed 18th with a time of 50.66.

Following this weekend's meet, Asheville will have a weekend off before returning to the track on April 8th-9th for the Auburn Invitational in Auburn, Al.
