Women's Cross Country Honored as All-Academic Team

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville women's cross country team was honored for its work in the classroom this past fall by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association this week.
The Bulldog runners posted a GPA of 3.52 in the fall and were named as a 2015 Division I All-Academic team. They were one of 205 women's teams from across the nation to earn All-Academic Team status from the USTFCCCA.
“I'm very proud of the job our young ladies do in the classroom,” stated Bulldog coach Jesse Norman. “This is a great team honor and everyone on our roster contributed to this award.”
The accolade marks the second consecutive year that the women's cross country team has earned the honor from the USTFCCCA.
