ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville women's swimming team opens CCSA Conference competition this Saturday when the Bulldogs play host to Campbell at the Justice Center Pool in Asheville, N.C.
NOTABLES
Last time out, Morgan Rulevich had a strong showing in the 50 free & 100 breaststroke gaining impressive fourth place points for the team, 24.63 & 1:06.62 respectively.
Skylar Rogan was nominated for CCSA Swimmer of the Week for her performances in 1,000 free, 200 butterfly, split 800 free, 500 free, 100 butterfly, and split 400 free this past week in Charlotte. In the final event of the afternoon Rogan was part of a Bulldog squad that took fourth in the 800 free relay.
Road Swing: This will be Asheville's only home meet in the month of October as they will hit the road for three straight away contests following this meet. The Bulldogs next home competition is on Saturday, Nov. 5 against Brenau University.
