Volleyball Postpones Saturday Match Against CSU

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville women's volleyball team has adjusted their weekend schedule due to the possible impact of Hurricane Matthew. The Bulldogs' regularly scheduled match against Charleston Southern University in the Justice Center this Saturday, October 8 at 4:00 p.m. will be postponed to be made up at a later date.

 

Hurricane Matthew is currently a Category 4 hurricane and due to its' potential impact on the North and South Carolina coasts, Charleston Southern is closing its campus. CSU is closing at 5:00 p.m. today, Tuesday, October 4th in anticipation of Hurricane Matthew taking a westerly track towards the East Coast.

 

Following today's match at Gardner-Webb, the Bulldogs will be back in action at home against Winthrop University on Friday, October 14 in the Justice Center.
