ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville women's volleyball team welcomes Gardner-Webb University to the Justice Center on Tuesday evening for a Big South battle beginning at 7:00 p.m.
This is the second time this season the two teams have met, with Asheville taking the first meeting 3-2 in Boiling Springs, N.C.
NOTABLES
Last Time Out: The Bulldogs are coming off of a 1-3 loss to Charleston Southern University in South Carolina on Friday, October 21. Previously, Asheville had strung together three straight home victories over Winthrop, High Point and Presbyterian.
Dog Days: Both the Bulldogs and the Runnin' Bulldogs are both coming off of losses, Asheville to CSU and Gardner-Webb to both Liberty and Radford University. Both teams are looking for a victory to propel a late season turnaround.
On GWU: The Runnin' Bulldogs (1-9) are currently ranked eighth out of nine teams in the Big South Conference standings. Their only win so far in league play was in Rock Hill, S.C. over Winthrop University (3-0).
UP NEXT
-The Bulldogs will continue Big South Conference play this weekend with a road trip to Virginia. They will face Radford University on Friday evening and Liberty University on Saturday.
