Bulldogs' Swim Team Takes Both Meets in Jacksonville

Jacksonville, Fla. – UNC Asheville came out victorious in both events in Jacksonville with wins over Florida Atlantic and North Florida. The Bulldogs defeated North Florida 146-116 and downed Florida Atlantic 160-101.5.

NOTABLES
- Freshman Skylar Rogan started the meet off with 9 first place points in the 1000 free, 10:35.03, followed by classmate Adee Weller in 10:47.67.
-In the 200 & 500 free the duo of Weller (1:58.68 & 5:13.11) and S. Rogan (1:58.84 & 5:10.68) again picked up valuable team points with their season best times.Â
-The 100 & 200 breast brought Morgan Rulevich two more wins for her sophomore campaign, 1:06.91 & 2:23.52.
-Catherine Allen lowered her own freshman record in the 200 fly when she won the event in 2:07. 51. Allen also swam a season best earning big team points in the 100 fly, 59.48.
-Other team members earning valuable points for the double win were Madison Rogan (200 fly 2:10.07, 100 fly 59.65 & 200 IM 2:13.50), Stephanie Smith (500 free 5:18.37 & 200 IM 2:13.97), Emily Werth (100 back 59.26 & 200 back 2:10.68), Ale Sánchez (200 fly 2:13.89 & 2:09.51) and Shannon Kennedy (100 breast 1:09.02 & 200 breast 2:30.15).
