Bulldogs' Swim Team Back in Action this Weekend for Two Meets

Time: Saturday, October, 22, 1:00 p.m.
ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville women's swim team will hit the road for two separate swim meets this weekend. The first meet will be held in Statesboro, Ga. by conference opponent Georgia Southern on Friday afternoon at 5:00 p.m. The Bulldogs will then travel to Jacksonville, Fla. to face off against Florida Atlantic and conference opponent North Florida on Saturday beginning at 1:00 p.m.
NOTABLES
Last Time Out: In the 1650 Yard Freestyle Skylar Rogan and Adee Weller took first and second place with finish times of 17:56.28 and 18:10.90. Emily Werth took first place in the 100 Yard Backstroke with a finish time of 59.84.
Well Rested: It has been nearly two weeks since the Bulldogs last competed. Asheville has not had a competitive meet since October 8 when they hosted Campbell. The Bulldogs will look to focus this energy into the two meets this weekend.

"I am excited to have so many races this weekend. The team is eager to face Georgia Southern University on Friday in Statesboro. They were a top finisher last year in the conference and are sure to be highly ranked again this season.
