CHARLESTON, S.C. – The UNC Asheville women's volleyball team will test its three-match win-streak on the road at Charleston Southern University tomorrow, October 21 at 7:00 p.m. in the Buccaneer Fieldhouse.
The Bulldogs look to avenge their (1-3) loss to the Bucs inside the Justice Center just over a week ago.
NOTABLES
Head-to-Head: The last time these two teams met was just a week and a half ago inside the Justice Center. The Bucs, previously undefeated in BSC play, took the match 3-1 behind outside hitter Addison Kaderli's 17 kills.
Still Streaking: The Bulldogs hope to continue their three-match win-streak with their first Big South Conference road win since their five-set victory over Gardner-Webb on October 4. Charleston Southern was the last team to hand the Bulldogs a loss before their string of victories.
On CSU: The Bucs, No. 2 in BSC standings, have spent the majority of the 2016-17 BSC season undefeated before their last match against Liberty University on Saturday, October 15. The Flames stole a five-set match from the Bucs inside the Buccaneer Field House to hand CSU their first league loss. The Flames won sets one (25-18), four (25-19) and five (15-13) to take the match.
Big South Breakdown: The Bulldogs are currency ranked sixth (4-5) in Big South Conference standings, one game back from Campbell University in fifth (5-4). The Camels will face Presbyterian College in Clinton, S.C. on Saturday, October 22.
