ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville women's volleyball team looks to continue their two-match home win streak against Presbyterian College Tuesday night. The Blue Hose will make the short trip up the mountain from Clinton, S.C. looking for their third Conference win.

 

NOTABLES

Movin' On Up: The Bulldogs' pair of conference victories on Friday and Saturday have moved them up two spots in the Big South standing to sixth place overall with a BSC record of 3-5. Asheville sits just below Campbell University whom they will welcome to Justice on Saturday, November 5 for Senior Day.

 

Big South Honors: Senior Madison Vaugh earned Big South Conference Player of the Week honors for her play in last week's home matches. In the Bulldogs' Tuesday match against Charleston Southern, Vaughn led the Bulldogs in attacking percentage (.444) with nine kills and only one error on 18 attempts. In Friday's win over Winthrop, she matched a team-high 11 kills on 26 attempts, along with a season-high five blocks. In Saturday's upset, she delivered seven kills and only one error on twelve attempts to hit (.500) for the match.

 

On Presbyterian: The Blue Hose are coming off of a five-set victory over Winthrop University in Clinton, S.C. this past Friday night. Presbyterian is currently seventh in Big South Conference standings, just one win back the Bulldogs in sixth.
