ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville Bulldogs return to conference play when they travel to High Point, N.C. this Saturday, October 15 at 7:00 p.m. to face the High Point Panthers at Vert Stadium.
NOTABLES:
Last Time Out: The Bulldogs dropped a mid-week non-conference match against the No. 4 ranked North Carolina, 7-0. The Tar Heels are a premier program and Asheville will look to build off of this opportunity to compete against the best.
Scouting High Point: The Panthers are coming off a 4-3 overtime victory on the road over NC State this past Tuesday. Forward Jon Bolanos scored the game winning golden goal in the 94' of play.
Road Struggles: Asheville has struggled away from Greenwood Field this season with a 1-7 record. The squad has only scored more than one goal on the road this season, the lone road victory over Liberty University.
