RESULTS (Big Kahuna) – COURSE MAP
HIGH POINT, N.C. – The UNC Asheville men's and women's cross country teams travel to Kernersville, N.C. for the VertCross Invitational cross country meet hosted by High Point University on Friday at 4:30 p.m.
The men will run first on an 8k course at 4:30, followed by the women on a 6k course at 5:15 p.m.
This will be Asheville's final meet before the Big South Conference Championship on October 28. The Championship meet will be held on Asheville's home course of Asheville Christian Academy.
NOTABLES
Last Time Out: In their last meet held at Asheville Christian Academy, both teams picked up top five finishes. Individually, Dominic Collichio and Zack Boone were the top finishers for Asheville on the men's side. Asheville highest finisher on the women's side was senior Sarah Heisner in sixth.
Big South Preview: This weekend's meet will feature seven out of ten Big South Conference Teams that will compete in the Championship in two weeks.
