ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville cross country season gets underway Saturday morning, with the Bulldogs making the short trek to Cullowhee for the Western Carolina Invitational to get 2015 started. The men will run a 5K race, while the women's race will be a two-mile course.
NOTABLES
-Asheville's features nine runners on the men's side and 12 runners on the women's team returning for another season, with two freshmen join the roster on both the men's and women's side.
-Both Bulldog teams come into the season with a preseason ranking in the middle of the Big South Conference, with the men picked fourth and the women selected fifth.
