Rain Pushes Men's Soccer to Sunday Afternoon

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – Due to heavy rains in the Asheville area and a forecast calling for more rain through Saturday night, the UNC Asheville men's soccer match against High Point has been pushed back to Sunday afternoon at 4:00 p.m.

 

The weather will force the Bulldogs and first year head coach Mathes Mennell to wait one extra day before opening Big South Conference play.

 

Asheville enters conference play with a 3-2-1 record to date, while High Point is 2-3-2 so far in 2015. High Point ended the Bulldogs' season last fall when they beat Asheville 2-0 in the opening round of the Big South Conference Tournament.
