Men's Soccer Announces Spring Schedule

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville men's soccer team beings preparations for its six game spring soccer schedule under first year head coach Mathes Mennell on today.

Mennell joined the Bulldogs this winter from Loyola-Marymount and will lead his first official practices for the Blue & White.

The Blue & White will face a variety of opponents, including a Wofford College from the Southern Conference, Appalachian State from the Sun Belt Conference and Lenior-Rhyne from the South Atlantic Conference. Additionally, the Bulldogs will square off with Mars Hill and Erskine as well as Milligan and Tusculum in a pair of tri-team meetings.

Men's soccer will close out the spring schedule with an alumni game on Saturday, April 18.

Thursday, March 5 at Wofford 7:30 p.m.

Saturday, March 7 at Mars Hill/Erskine, time TBA

Tuesday, March 17 vs. Tour of America-Canada Youth Team 7:30 p.m.

Saturday, March 21 at Milligan/Tusculum in Johnson City, Tenn. Time - TBA

Saturday, March 28 vs. Lenior-Rhyne at 7:00 p.m.

Saturday, April 11 at Appalachian State at 6:30 p.m.

Saturday, April 18 vs. Alumni Asheville at 7:00 p.m.
