Heisner All-Conference as Bulldogs Finish 4th, 5th at Championship

Women's Cross Country Honored as All-Academic Team

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville women's cross country team was honored for their work in the classroom this past fall by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association on Wednesday.

 

The Bulldog harriers posted a GPA of 3.43 in the fall and were named as a 2015 Division I All-Academic team. They were one of 226 women's teams from across the nation to earn All-Academic honors.

 

“I'm very proud of the job our young ladies do in the classroom,” stated Bulldog coach Jesse Norman. “This is a great team honor and everyone on our roster contributed to this award.”
