Basketball Tip-Off Event Set for Thursday

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – Join UNC Asheville basketball head coaches Nick McDevitt and Brenda Mock Kirkpatrick and their teams for a 2015 Basketball Tip-Off Event Thursday, Nov. 5, held at the Highland Brewing Company. The free event open to the public will run from 6-8 p.m.
Fans will have an opportunity to meet and take photos with student-athletes from both the men's and women's programs.
A special reception will be held for season ticket holders and Bulldog Athletics Association Members from 5-6 p.m.
The 2015-16 season tips off Nov. 13 for both the men's and women's teams. The men head to Knoxville, Tenn., to take on Tennessee while the women open up on the road at East Tennessee State.
The home portion of the schedule for the men begins Nov. 18 against Mars Hill while the women will begin play at Kimmel Arena Nov. 20 against Montreat College.
