ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville volleyball team begins its run at that Big South Championship on Thursday afternoon when they take on Winthrop in the tournament's quarterfinals in High Point. One of the most consistent teams in the Big South Conference, the Bulldogs are back in the conference tournament after missing out last season. Prior to 2014, the last time an Asheville team did not participate in the Big South tournament was the 1989 season.
