Bulldog Cross Country Opens Season Saturday at Western

Cross Country Season Concludes at NCAA Regional

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - The UNC Asheville women's cross country team concluded its 2015 season Friday afternoon at the NCAA Southeast Regional held at Panorama Fields. With a team score of 674, the Bulldogs finished 27th.

 

Notes:

-Asheville finished with the third-best point total among the five Big South participants in the regional. 
-Senior Kelsie Rubino paced Asheville, turning in a time 22:59.1, while  senior Erin Dalton was not far behind, coming in with a time of 23:08.9.
-Junior Sarah Heisner (23:34.9), senior Kasey Briggs (23:59.9), sophomore Casey Greenwalt (24:16.4), senior Scarlett Beamon (24:35.8).
-Freshman Megan Brewer (24:36.8) rounded out Asheville's lineup.
