ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville volleyball team closes out the 2015 regular season with a pair of home matches that could prove critical to the seeding for next week's Big South Championship. The Bulldogs are a lock for the tournament, currently sitting in fourth place. Liberty is two games ahead of Asheville in third place, while Radford sits in sixth place. A Bulldog victory over Liberty Friday night, as well as a Flames loss at Gardner-Webb Saturday, would give Asheville and Liberty identical conference records and bring tiebreakers into play to determine the final seedings.

-Prior to Friday night's match, Asheville will celebrate the careers of its four seniors: Katie Davis, Cat Fischer, Chrissy Lakatos and Bryn Pfeiffer.
-The Bulldogs have the second-best team hitting percentage in the conference at .216, sitting only behind Coastal Carolina's .281 percentage heading into the final week of the regular season. -Madison Vaughn is second in the Big South in a pair of categories – total blocks (96.0) and blocks per set (1.09/per).
-A pair of Asheville players sit inside the league's top 10 in overall hitting percentage. Vaughn is connecting at a .332 rate, good for sixth overall in the conference, while Cameron Pryor is hitting .327 percent, the seventh-best in the BSC.
-Since 1994, Asheville is: 15-31 against Liberty and 24-18 against Radford. Earlier this season, the Bulldogs fell at Liberty 3-2 and beat Radford 3-0, both on the road.
