QUOTABLES

“Not too many times do we get to race in an under-distance race this time of the season. Furman's course had rolling hills that will help us physically and mentally prepare for our conference championships. We did a good job of packing up early and working together as a team, but we still have work to do in the last mile of the race. We had a few of our upper classmen step up today and fill some roles that we have been missing earlier in the season. We came into the race a little tired and sluggish as a result of some hard training over the last few weeks. We are going to start sharpening up over the next five weeks to prepare for the pre-nationals, conference and regional championships.” – Assistant Coach Adam Puett

UP NEXT

-Following this weekend's split team races, the Bulldog men will come back together with the women's team to prepare for the Pre-Nationals race next Saturday in Louisville, Kentucky.
