Matt Kern Will Not Return as Men's Soccer Head Coach

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – UNC Asheville Director of Athletics Janet R. Cone announced today that men's soccer coach Matt Kern will not return for next season.

 

Kern has been the Bulldogs head coach for the past five years. Asheville has posted a 19-63-8 record during Kern's tenure. In Big South Conference matches, the Bulldogs have gone 10-32-4.

 

“We appreciate the hard work by Coach Kern and his staff over the past five years,” stated Cone. “We wish him nothing but the best in his future endeavors. We will conduct a nationwide search for our next head men's soccer coach immediately.”
