GREENSBORO, N.C. – UNC Asheville men's soccer player Paul Egle was named to the Big South All-Tournament team at the conclusion of the tourney Sunday afternoon.

The Bulldogs fell to High Point in Tuesday's quarterfinals, 2-0. Egle earned a spot on the team via a vote of Big South Conference coaches.

Egle enjoyed an excellent senior campaign for the Bulldogs. He earned second-team All-Conference honors and was Asheville's leading scorer with four goals, three assists for 11 points. Two of his goals were game-winners and another tied a match that the Bulldogs went on to win.

The Asheville native helped lead the Dogs to their first Big South Tournament berth since the 2011 season.

Coastal Carolina won the tournament by edging top-seeded Radford, 1-0 on Sunday in the championship game played at Bryan Park.
