Men's Soccer Opens with Montreat in Spring Debut

ASHEVILLE, N.C - The UNC Asheville men's soccer team will make its spring debut on Saturday when the Bulldogs host Montreat at Greenwood Field starting at 3 p.m. Admission is free.

 

It will be a spring soccer double-header on Saturday as the women's team hosts The Citadel at 1 p.m.

 

Asheville coach Matt Kern is looking forward to the start of spring matches.

 

"We are looking forward to our first spring match vs. Montreat on Saturday," commented Kern.  "The group has shown outstanding commitment in the weight room since January, and our focus in training has been very good.  It will be extremely beneficial to get 90 minutes of 11-on-11 this Saturday."
