Ristic Honored by Big South Conference

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (www.BigSouthSports.com) - The Big South Confernece announced on Wednesday that UNC Asheville's Milan Ristic has been named the league's Choice Hotels Men's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week.

 

Ristic, a junior from Belgrade, Serbia, set the Big South Conference standard in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 7.75 at the Tiger Paw Invitational at Clemson over the weekend.  He finished 2nd overall in the event.

 

This marks the second award for Ristic from the conference this year. Ristic and the Bulldogs compete again next week (Feb. 20-21) at the Big South Conference championships in Winston-Salem, N.C.
