Men's Soccer Starts Spring Soccer Matches

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - The UNC Asheville men's soccer team opened up their spring schedule this past Saturday when the Bulldogs participated in two games at Clemson.

Asheville played both Clemson and Mercer and though the Bulldogs fell, 2-0 and 1-0 respectively, head coach Matt Kern saw a lot of positives in both scrimmages.

The Bulldogs will play five more times in the spring (listed below) with three being played at Greenwood Field. Admission is free to home spring matches.

"The team is excited to get back outside after a few weeks of playing indoor," stated Kern. "The spring is a time for development, and the boys are looking forward to gaining some valuable experience against some high-quality opposition."
