Castro Earns Big South Honor

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - UNC Asheville junior defender Bobby Castro earned a spot on the Big South All-Academic team for men's soccer as the league announced its award winners for the 2012 season.

 

Castro, a junior from Cary, played every minute of the Bulldogs 17 matches this year. He was one of 11 players to earn a spot on the team. Last week, Castro was named as a Capital One Academic All-District 3 Men's Soccer Division I team by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
