Benorden Earns Spot on All-Tournament Team at James Madison

HARRISONBURG, VA. - UNC Asheville senior outside hitter Kelsey Benorden earned a spot on this past weekend's Coca-Cola James Madision Invitational All-Tournament team.
Benorden had 39 kills and 45 digs during the three matches. She posted her first double-double of the year in the Bulldogs' 3-1 victory over Stetson with 17 kills and 25 digs. The Knoxville native had 13 kills against Davidson in the first match of the year and then just missed a double-double against JMU with nine kills and 16 digs.
Asheville went 1-2 in the tournament and will play again this coming weekend at South Alabama. The Bulldogs face Alabama State and South Alabama on Friday and then take on Alabama A&M and Southeastern Louisiana on Saturday.
