Volleyball Team Plays at Presbyterian College Tonight
10.05.2010 | Women's Volleyball
The Bulldogs (10-7, 3-1 BSC) look to get back on the winning track after a disappointing loss at High Point Saturday afternoon. Asheville had its six-game winning streak snapped in the loss. The Panthers defeated the Bulldogs in three sets.
"We just didn't play very well on Saturday," explained Torbett. "High Point is a good team, and we just didn't play well enough to beat a team the caliber of High Point on its home-court."
It's a busy week for the Bulldogs as they'll play at Charleston Southern Friday night and then play at Winthrop Saturday afternoon. Counting last weekend's matches against Radford and High Point, Asheville will have played five matches in eight days and all on the road.
"We're in the middle of a demanding stretch," declared Torbett. "We're on the road a bunch and each match is going to be a tough one starting with Presbyterian Tuesday night. We just have to take one match at a time."
