Big South Men's Soccer Tournament Moved to Gardner-Webb

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (www.BigSouthSports.com) - The 2009 Big South Conference Men's Soccer Championship has been moved from High Point University's Vert Soccer Stadium to Gardner-Webb University's Greene-Harbison Stadium due to weather and field conditions following two days of rain in the High Point area. The event was previously postponed one day because of weather.

UNC Asheville will be the sixth seed for the tournament and take on third-seed Liberty Friday afternoon at 5 p.m.

The adjusted Championship schedule and game times will remain the same as announced yesterday, with the quarterfinals on Friday, the Semifinals on Saturday and the Championship game on Sunday.

Friday, Nov. 13 - Quarterfinals

Game 1: No. 4 Winthrop vs. No. 5 Gardner-Webb - 12:00pm

Game 2: No. 1 Coastal Carolina vs. No. 8 VMI - 2:30pm

Game 3: No. 3 Liberty vs. No. 6 UNC Asheville - 5:00pm

Game 4: No. 2 High Point vs. No. 7 Radford - 7:30pm

Saturday, Nov. 14 - Semifinals

Game 5: Winner Game 1 vs. Winner Game 2 - 4:00pm

Game 6: Winner Game 3 vs. Winner Game 4 - 7:00pm

Sunday, Nov. 15 - Championship

Game 7: Winner Game 5 vs. Winner Game 6 - 2:00pm
