She got her week started with nine kills and two blocks as the Bulldogs downed Presbyterian College, 3-0 on Oct. 6. Three days later at home against High Point, Miller connected on 50 percent of her attacks to finish with nine kills and one dig in Asheville's 3-0 win over the Panthers. The next day in a battle of Big South unbeatens, Miller exploded for a career-high 22 kills, while hitting 50 percent with three blocks and two digs as the Bulldogs picked up the 3-1 win over Liberty.
It is Miller's first Player of the Week honor and she is second Bulldog to win the award this season. The Bulldogs will travel to Winthrop and Coastal Carolina this weekend in a pair of key Big South matches.
