UNC Asheville Men's Soccer Announces Captains for 2007 Season

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - UNC Asheville men's soccer coach Steve Cornish has announced his three captains for the 2007 season. They will be junior midfielder Alex Morrow, junior defender Nathan Neal and junior defender Edwin Wotortsi.
The Bulldogs begin practice for the 2007 season in mid-August and play three exhibition matches. Asheville is home in exhibition play one time and that's against King College on Wednesday, Aug. 22 starting at 5 p.m. The Bulldogs open the 2007 season in a tournament at Kentucky against IUPUI on Friday, Aug. 31 at 5 p.m. Asheville's first home match takes place against Elon on Wednesday, Sept. 19 at 4 p.m.
"We're looking forward to the 2007 season with a great deal of optimism," stated Cornish. "The three lads we have chosen to be our captains are all excellent young men who will provide a great deal of leadership during the year."
