Benorden Makes Big South All-Tournament Team

LYNCHBURG, VA. - Freshman outside hitter Kelsey Benorden earned a spot on the Big South Conference All-Tournament team. It was announced at the conclusion of the 2007 Big South Volleyball Tournament held at the Vines Center Saturday night.

Benorden enjoyed a sensational quarterfinal match against High Point as she put down a school-record and Vines Center-record 34 kills in Asheville's five-game win over High Point. The rookie from Knoxville also had 17 digs in the match.She then  had 10 kills and 16-digs for her 22nd double-double of the season against Winthrop in the semifinals on Friday.
