Former Mars Hill standout Jeremy “Moe” Jordan just finished his third season as an assistant coach with the UNC Asheville men’s soccer program.

Jordan enjoyed a great career as a midfielder at Mars Hill from 1996-99. He was inducted into the school’s Hall of Fame in 2011. Jordan was a four-team All-Conference selection. He holds the school record for assists in a season with 20 in 1996. Jordan is second all-time in the South Atlantic Conference for single-season assists (20) and career assists with 51. He played in 84 matches for the Lions and recorded 27 career goals and 105 career points. Jordan was a member of the 1997 SAC Tournament Championship Team, 1998 SAC regular-season championship team and the 1998 SAC Tournament Championship Team. He was a three-time SAC All-Tournament selection (1996, 1997 and 1998) and served as team captain in 1999.

Jordan began his coaching career as a graduate assistant for Mars Hill in the 2000 season. He coached in the Atlanta area before moving to Asheville in 2006. Jordan has been working with the Highlands Football Club teams for the past seven years.
