UNC Asheville Cheer and Dance Set Tryout Dates
The UNC Asheville Cheer and Dance team will host tryouts for the 2015-2016 team September 1st-3rd at Kimmel Arena.
When: Tryouts are September 1st - 3rd in Kimmel Arena from 7-10pm.
Who: All genders are welcome to participate in tryouts.
What to Wear: Participants will need to wear blue shirts and black bottoms on days 1 and 2 and a white shirt with black bottoms on day 3. No jewelry is allowed.
What to Expect: Three routines will be learned to perform on the final day of tryouts. Candidates will tryout out with backgrounds in either cheer or dance. All will be required to do a double turn and toe touch. Dancers are expected to do an additional turn or leap. Cheerleaders are expected to tumble or do an additional jump.
