We have a question for Janet this week from former Bulldog great - Chad Mohn.

Dear Janet:

I know that it is roughly a year away, but are there going to be any plans in place to make sure that the new arena is filled primarily with Asheville fans for the first game? Possibly reserve a certain percentage for private sale while making the rest available to the public? Would hate to see the Tar Heels get a larger ovation than the homestanding Bulldogs when they come out on the court. Thanks a lot.

Dear Chad:

Thank you for your question and for your desire to make sure that our Bulldog fans get an opportunity to fill the new Kimmel Arena. We will use our priority ticket plan to accommodate ticket requests. This plan outlines that our Bulldog Athletic Association Members, Season Ticket Holders, and UNC Asheville Donors will have an opportunity to purchase tickets before the general public. In addition, our UNC Asheville students who have a valid one card will also have an opportunity to have tickets to this game. Finally, please remember that per NCAA rules and game contracts, we will provide a certain number of tickets for the Carolina pass list and coaching staff. Thanks again for your continued interest in your Bulldogs. I hope you and your family have a wonderful Holiday.
