Young's Transportation Earns Prestigious Award
OVERLAND, PARK, KS. - Young Transportation of Asheville, the preferred team transportation of UNC Asheville Athletics for the past 15 years, was awarded the title of International Motor Group Operator of the Year at the Strategic Alliance Meeting held in French Lick IN on Aug. 8-11.
IMG Chairman Jack Wigley presented the award to Young Transportation Chairman Ralph Young, President/CEO Tom Crouch and Executive Vice President Hank Garbee. Mr. Crouch has served on the Bulldog Athletic Club Board of Directors and been an active member of the Bulldog Athletic Club for many years.
"It is quite an honor for Young Transportation to be selected for this award and to be recognized nationally by the premier travel companies of IMG," stated Crouch.
Young Transportation, located near the UNC Asheville campus on 843 Riverside Drive, has 100 employees and serves Western North Carolina, the Tri-Cities of East Tennessee State and Upstate South Carolina.
"We are very happy for Young Transportation to get this distinguished award and offer them congratulations," stated UNC Asheville Athletics Director Janet Cone. "However, we're not surprised that they received this award because we know what a great job that Young's does for UNC Asheville and our student-athletes and coaches."
