UNC Asheville Athletics Announces BAA Board Officers and New Members for 2024-25

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – UNC Asheville Athletics and Director of Athletics Janet R. Cone announced that Sandi Heckman will serve as Board Chair of the Bulldog Athletic Association (BAA) for 2024-25.
Heckman succeeds Dr. Keith Black, who served as chair in 2023-24. Black will serve as immediate past chair of the executive committee, Gary Froeba as vice chair, and David Meyer as the at-large committee member.
"The board is excited to have Sandi serve as chair for the 2024-25 athletics season," said Cone. "Sandi and her husband, Peter, have already made an immediate impact on our department with their generous gift to the tennis facility project. I am excited to continue to work alongside Sandi as we enter another exciting year of Bulldog Athletics."
