UNC Asheville Athletics Announces BAA Board Officers and New Members for 2023-24

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – UNC Asheville Athletics, along with Director of Athletics Janet R. Cone, announced that Dr. Keith Black will serve as Board Chair of the Bulldog Athletic Association (BAA) for 2023-24.
Black succeeds Mike Tracy, who served as chair in 2022-23. Tracy will serve as Immediate Past Chair on the Executive Committee along with Sandi Heckman who will serve as Vice Chair and Gary Froeba who will serve as an At-Large committee member.
"The board is excited to have Keith serve as its board chair this year," said Cone. "His passion for Bulldog Athletics runs deep, dating back to when he first supported our student-athletes with custom-made athletic mouthpieces. We are motivated by his vision for the coming year and know our board is in good hands with Keith as the chair."
In addition to announcing a new executive committee, the BAA Board is also welcoming seven new members to the board:

Alexis Baker '22, Murphy Oil Corporation & UNC Asheville student-athlete alum
Chris Kwiatkowski '93, Dogwood State Bank & UNC Asheville student-athlete alum
John Pierce, Retired Finance Executive
David Worley, Worley, Woodberry, and Associates, PA
Sierra Cardi, Women's Golf (Student-Athlete Representative)
Heath Flathau, Men's Soccer (Student-Athlete Representative)
