Important Pupdate: UNC Asheville Soccer Hosts “Pups on the Pitch” During Final Doubleheader

ASHEVILLE – UNC Asheville men's and women's soccer programs are excited to partner with the Asheville Humane Society for "Pups on the Pitch" during the season's final home doubleheader at Greenwood Field, Saturday, October 19.
The women's team will kick the day off with a 10:30 a.m. match against Longwood, with the men set to play Campbell 30 minutes after the conclusion of the women's match.
Fans are encouraged to bring their dogs to the matches, and fans who do have their canine friends with them can purchase discounted $4 tickets that gain entry into both matches. All dogs brought to Greenwood Field are required to remain on a leash.
There will be an international walkout for both matches that will feature soccer student-athletes walking onto the field for introductions accompanied by dogs in attendance. To have your dog participate in the walkout, please contact Director of Marketing and Fan Engagement Josh Baker at jbaker8@unca.edu.
