Make a Difference in Our Bulldogs' Lives!
It's through teamwork, trials, triumphs, and with the generous support of our valued alumni, community members, and fellow sports lovers that our student-athletes advance in the classroom, in competition, and through community service. Your contributions support their academic and athletic journey as they become leaders and champions in the game, in the community, and in life.
Your support directly impacts more than 230 student-athletes, providing them with opportunities to further reach their full potential and demonstrate why they are Big South Champions. Whatever the amount, whatever the means, your contributions give our champions a solid foundation for success. With each move, the student-athletes in UNC Asheville's 16 NCAA Division I sports draw a crowd of supporters, from the fans who cheer them on, to the coaches and staff who push them in practice, to the donors who contribute to their scholarships. Your contributions help our student-athletes continue to reach their goals as the innovative, inspiring and engaging leaders of today and tomorrow.
UNC Asheville's scholar-athlete contributions and accolades in 2016-17 include:
• 72 percent of student-athletes were named to the prestigious Big South Honor Roll
• 76 student-athletes earned a GPA of 3.5 or higher to earn a place on the Dean's List
• 21 student-athletes achieved a perfect 4.0 GPA to earn a place on the Chancellor's List
• 2,000 hours of community service
