Bulldogs Close Out Play at Spartan Fall Invitational

Day Two Results
GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Asheville men's tennis team continued picking up strong wins on the final day of the Spartan Fall Invitational.
In singles action on the final day of the tournament, Andrew Sinai bested UNCG's Daniel Hammarstedt 6-7 (4), 7-6 (1), 1-0 (2).
UNC Asheville's James Massie defeated Josh Pistorious of Furman 6-4, 6-0, while Reese Daly defeated Logan Blaser of UNCG 3-6, 6-1, 1-0 (3).
One day earlier in doubles action on Sagturday, UNC Asheville picked up two wins with Finlay Ray McFadyen and Sinai combining to best UNCG's Nico Crewe and Logan Walker, 8-3. UNC Asheville's duo of Daly and Massie downed UNCG's Eric Whisnant and Ian Melnik, 8-6.
In the first round of singles play on Saturday, McFadyen bested Elon's Neal Port 6-2, 3-0 (def.).
In the second round of singles play on Saturday, Sinai picked up a 6-2 , 6-7 (11), 1-0 (9) win over Alex Steryous of Furman.
