Bulldogs Close Out Efforts at Davidson Invitational With Strong Sunday

DAVIDSON, N.C. – The UNC Asheville men's tennis team closed out play at the Davidson Invitational on Sunday by taking on the host Wildcats.
The Bulldogs took the win in five of the seven singles flights against Davidson on Sunday.
At No. 1 singles, Henry Patten closed out a perfect weekend in singles with a 6-3, 6-1 win over Davidson's Yash Parikh.
UNC Asheville's Oli Nolan collected a hard-fought 6-1, 2-6, 10-5 win at No. 2 singles over Davidson's Axel Fries, while Olly Cull secured a 4-6, 6-1, 10-4 win at No. 4 singles for the Bulldogs over Davidson's Thomas Mason.
At No. 5 singles, UNC Asheville's Edward Colclough downed Davidson's Alexander Loope, 6-4, 6-1.
UNC Asheville's Finlay Ray McFayden garnered a 6-1, 0-6, 10-4 win over Davidson's Matthew Rose at No. 6 singles.
